Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff
Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff is a Jewish storyteller, poet, educator, coach, and facilitator. In March 2016, Jennifer was named as a "Baltimore Social Innovator" by the Warnock Foundation.
Jennifer is the founder, director, and storytelling coach of The Golden Door: Storytelling for Social Justice, an organization that brings storytellers into middle and high school classrooms and trains teachers in storytelling and coaching.
She recently facilitated a Boys's Storytelling project for Jewish and African American boys through the CHAI Foundation of Baltimore, Maryland.
When Jennifer performs for synagogues and schools, biblical figures speak, rabbinic Midrash leaps off the pages of the Talmud, and Judaism’s rich folklore dances to life.
Jennifer's CD, The Growing Season, contains original stories about Tu B'Shvat, Purim, and Passover. The stories, based on traditional sources, were commissioned by the Macks Center for Jewish Education in Baltimore, Maryland. The stories are available on iTunes and Amazon.
From 2010-2015, Jennifer facilitated the Storytelling Teacher Training program at Krieger Schechter Day School, in Baltimore, Maryland. She has coached middle school, and elementary school teachers, as well as school counselors, in the art of storytelling.
From 2004-2013, Jennifer has co-taught the “Oral History of the Holocaust” course at Goucher College, individually coaching more than 100 students.
Recent performance and workshops venues include: Temple Beth Shalom in Cherry Hill, NJ, Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore, MD; Temple Emanu-el in Cleveland, Ohio; Beth Shalom in Raleigh, North Carolina; Temple Judea in Fort Myers, Florida NewCAJE Conference in Hartford, CT, and the Association of Jewish Libraries Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.

Jennifer's Jewish poetry has appeared in the Baltimore Jewish Times, and on the Jewish Women’s Archive blog, the Women of the Wall website, and the Philadelphia Jewish Voice blog. Several of her Torah commentaries were also published in the Baltimore Jewish Times.
