Founded in 1989, the Jewish Storytelling Coalition began as a network of storytellers in New England sharing the venerable craft of the telling of Jewish tales through concerts, performances, workshops and informal story-sharing sessions. Many of those storytellers have grown to become professional raconteurs, sharing their passion for Jewish tales in venues large and small, near and far.

Today the Jewish Storytelling Coalition provides a web presence for Jewish story, and has become a national network where performing storytellers and audiences may find one another.

If you are an individual or organization seeking a Jewish storyteller, see the Directory of Jewish Storytellers for a listing of tellers. Whether your situation calls for folk, religious or contemporary tales, a performance or a workshop, education, cultural enrichment or flat-out entertainment, you will find a storyteller who best suits the needs of your unique event.
