Cherie has been a professional Storyteller for 5 decades, sharing spirit-filled Stories, performances, workshops, training, mentoring, and more across the country and abroad. She was on Faculty of the Jewish Spiritual Education Maggid program, founded the NewCAJE RISE Storytelling Initiative in 2019 (now in its second cohort) and co-founded the NewCAJEarts integrated arts collaborative. Cherie has authored three Jewish books, and her stories are in many anthologies. She is a Storyteller, Author, Educator, poet, and teacher of Torah (sTORy Journeys). Cherie works with elementary students, teens, B'Mitzvah students, adults, intergenerational groups and Elders. All of her teaching, performing and keynotes are interactive engaging experiences. Her stories tell of worldwide Jewish wisdom and wishes. SO far, she has around 360 stories in her repertoire, which she loves to share with audiences, museums, schools, camps and libraries.
